Army Agniveer Recruitment Rally to be held in Kotdwar from 15 to 30 Jan

Dehradun, 11 Jan: The candidates who have passed the CEE 2025 as a first step to serving the nation as Agniveers of the Indian Army, will now brace for the next step of rally run and physical tests at Gabbar Singh Camp, Kotdwar, starting on 15 January. This recruitment rally is being organised for more than 13,000 candidates of 7 districts of Garhwal, namely, Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Tehri Garhwal, Pauri Garhwal, Dehradun and Haridwar. The recruitment is being done for posts like Agniveer General Duty (GD), Agniveer Clerk/ SKT, Agniveer Technical and Agniveer Tradesman.

Candidates, on arrival at the rally site, will be verified using Aadhaar Verification for which candidates are requested to bring with them the mobile number linked with aadhaar. Eligible candidates must carry their admit cards with them to the rally site along with all the original documents along with their three photocopies. Mandatory documents include PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Police Character Certificate generated online, twenty passport size photographs (coloured), educational qualification certificates, Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate, School Character certificate. Marksheet of Class 8th is to be countersigned by District education officer whereas Religion Certificate, Character certificate & Unmarried Certificate is to be signed by Sarpanch. If applicable, candidates are required to bring Relation certificate, NCC Certificate and sports certificate as mentioned in the rally notification. Affidavit will be prepared at the rally site.

Colonel RS Panwar, Director, ARO Lansdowne, expressed his gratitude to Swati Bhadauria, DM, Pauri, Chatar Singh Chauhan, SDM, Kotdwar and civil administration who have understood the requirements of the rally very well and have delivered all the support which is required for this rally very efficiently. He also advised candidates to stay aware and away from the touts or agents, as the selection in the Army is completely fair and transparent. There are no charges for documentation procedure, physical events and medical examination.

It is estimated that around 1100 candidates are expected to arrive Kotdwar every day therefore additional buses have been arranged by the Transport Corporation for candidates arriving from far districts. Candidates to note that there are two different entry gates to enter in the ground. One for candidates taking part in run and the other one for candidates selected for medical examination. Additional police force is also being deployed to maintain order during the rally. Firefighters of the fire department will be present on the ground to prevent any kind of fire related accident. In addition, medical officers will be present with their staff and ambulance for first aid.
