BJP holds workshop on VB-G RAM-G

Roorkee, 15 Jan: A district-level workshop was organised here under the public awareness campaign of the “Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Employment and Livelihood Mission (Rural) – VB-G RAM-G”. BJP State General Secretary of Uttarakhand, Deepti Rawat Bhardwaj, was present as the Chief Speaker at the workshop.

Addressing the workshop, Deepti Rawat Bhardwaj provided detailed information on employment opportunities in rural areas, livelihood empowerment, promotion of self-employment, and various public welfare schemes being run by the Central and State Governments. She stated that the government’s intention is to ensure that the benefits of schemes reach the person standing at the last mile and that every citizen becomes self-reliant.

In her address, she said that the vision of a Developed India can be realised only when rural society is provided with concrete opportunities for employment, livelihood, and self-reliance. She emphasised that connecting the general public with government schemes through such awareness campaigns is extremely important.

On this occasion, BJP State Vice President Rakesh Giri, District In-charge, Roorkee, Aditya Chauhan, District President Madhu Singh, MLA, Roorkee, Pradeep Batra, District Co-in-charge Ravindra Kataria, and Programme Convener Sanjay Arora, along with several other senior office bearers, party workers, and members of the public, were present.

The objective of the programme was to increase awareness about employment and livelihood-related schemes in rural areas and to strengthen the goal of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
