Dehradun, 14 Nov: The children’s section of the Doon Library & Research Centre has organised a 4- day Children’s Art Exhibition from 14 to 17 November.
This exhibition celebrates Children’s Day and showcases the artistic talents of young artists from across Uttarakhand. This event provides a platform for children to express their creativity and share their unique perspectives through various art forms, including paintings, drawings, and mixed media works. The exhibition not only highlights the diverse talents of the region’s youth but also fosters a sense of community and appreciation for art among attendees.
Parents, teachers, and art enthusiasts alike marvelled at the ingenuity and imagination on display, making it a truly memorable celebration of youthful creativity and cultural expression.
The four days will be packed with art, colour and activities for children of Doon.

This event has been organised as part of the recently opened Children’s Section at the DLRC. The event has offered a vibrant platform for children to express their creativity and share their unique perspectives through various art forms.
Day 1 of the exhibition at Sunny’s Amanet began with the inauguration by Kusum Kohli and her talented students. Known for her dedication, Kusum has been a guiding light for these young artists, nurturing their creativity and skills at this educational institution focused on uplifting underprivileged children. The event showcased a variety of artistic expressions, reflecting the hard work and passion of the students. The day concluded on a lively note with many school students and families coming to see the exhibition.
The event was also attended by Dr BK Joshi, Chandrashekhar Tewari, Colonel Dougall and Colonel Rautela, Justina, Zarina Bath, Kusum Kohli and Yogita Thapliyal. All of them praised the children for their wonderful work.
