Dehradun, 28 Nov: A two-day Conference on “Nanomaterials & Green Technology for Viksit Bharat Mission 2047” (ICNMGT-2025) commenced today at Uttaranchal University. The event was inaugurated with lamp lighting by dignitaries Abhinav Kumar (Chief Guest, ADG-Intelligence-UK), Jitender Joshi (President), Ankita Joshi (Vice President), Prof Dharam Buddhi (Vice Chancellor), Prof Rajesh Bahuguna (Pro Vice Chancellor), Prof Ajay Singh (Convener & Director), Prof Gaurav Tomar (Scientist, Green Rebel, Dublin, Ireland), and Dr Gaurav Sharma (Head-ZSI, Guest of Honour).
Prof Ajay Singh briefed the gathering about the requirement of Nanomaterials and Green Technology for Viksit Bharat “Mission 2047” and stated that more than 250 papers had been received. After review, selected papers would be published in Springer Nature Journals.
Chief Guest Abhinav Kumar highlighted the need for Environmental Sustainability in his address. He focused on finding solutions for environmental issues.
Guest of Honour Dr Gaurav Sharma highlighted the importance of Zoological biodiversity in sustainability. Dr Gaurav Tomar, the keynote speaker delivered a talk on the Blue Economy.
The Vice Chancellor stressed on quality innovations and research useful for Society & Industry.
Dr Yadnesh Kesari of Springer Nature delivered a talk on research integrity. Dr Enrico Cattizzone (Professor, Department of Environmental Engineering, University of Calibra, Italy), Dr CR Bhaduri (CEO RD-Ratio Diagnostics GmbH, Germany), Yadnesh Kumar (Springer Nature), Megha Bisht, Dr MH Haroon (University of Sri Lanka) were among the international delegates who delivered online talks.
