Dehradun, 8 Dec: A meeting has been convened in Doon to discuss the preparations for the upcoming “Vote Chor – Gaddi Chhor” mega rally to be held at Ramleela Maidan, New Delhi. The meeting will take place at Heritage Wedding Point, Babughar, Vikasnagar, on 10 December at 11 a.m. under the chairmanship of Pachhwadun District Congress President, Sanjay Kishor.
The meeting will be held in the presence of
Pritam Singh, Chairman, Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee Publicity Committee; Member, CEC; and MLA, Chakrata; Navprabhat, former Minister, Aryendra Sharma, Vice President & Treasurer, Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee; Abhishek Singh, Vice President, District Panchayat, Dehradun; Dheeraj “Bobby” Nautiyal, Chairman, Nagar Palika, Vikasnagar; Sumit Chaudhary, Chairman, Nagar Panchayat, Selaqui; senior office bearers and dedicated workers from Chakrata, Vikasnagar, and Sahaspur Assembly constituencies.
The upcoming rally at Ramleela Maidan is not merely a political event; it is a powerful collective voice against the injustices faced by the people of the country, the increasing assaults on democratic institutions, and the anti-people policies being imposed, it has been stated.
