New Delhi, 24 Dec: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid a courtesy call on Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi today. During the meeting, Dhami presented Shah with a Munsiyari Shawl, a symbol of Uttarakhand’s regional culture and heritage.
On this occasion, the CM briefed the Union Home Minister on the projects under the Vibrant Village initiative and the winter Yatra. Discussions were also held on empowering the cooperative sector and improving coordination between cooperative institutions and farmers. Official sources claimed that the meeting also provided an opportunity for Dhami to receive guidance from the Home Minister on various state development topics.
It may be recalled that Dhami was in Delhi today to participate in a meeting of the Union Home Ministry on the implementation of new criminal laws in the state.
