Dhami offers prayers at Pashupatinath Temple in Khatima

Dehradun, 16 Oct: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Pashupatinath Temple in Khatima today and offered prayers and performed various rituals. He also prayed for the happiness, prosperity, and the overall welfare of the people of Uttarakhand. As a gesture of reverence and devotion, the CM also presented a temple bell to the shrine during the visit.

Upon his arrival in the temple premises, Dhami was warmly welcomed by devotees. Women, youths and elderly citizens greeted him with flower garlands and raised slogans in his praise, creating an atmosphere of spiritual fervour and public enthusiasm.

After completing the prayers, Dhami addressed the gathering and stated that Uttarakhand’s spiritual legacy is its greatest strength. He described the state as ‘Devbhoomi and emphasised that the faith of the people is deeply rooted in every temple and sacred shrine across the region. On this occasion, he also reiterated his Government’s commitment to the preservation and development of the holy sites and towards recognising their cultural and spiritual significance.

Among those present on the occasion included District Panchayat President Ajay Maurya, Municipal Council Chairman Ramesh Chandra Joshi, Farzana Begum, Anil Kapoor Dabbu and Shankar Koranga besides others.
