Dehradun, 21 Oct: Him Jyoti School, Dehradun, has once again brought pride to Uttarakhand with its outstanding achievements in the Education World India School Rankings 2024–25. The school has been ranked No. 2 Philanthropic School in India and, for the first time, has secured the 6th position in the country for STEAM Education Excellence. It was also honoured with the prestigious ‘School of the Year’ Award among the Top 20 Philanthropic Schools in India.
The awards were presented in Delhi on 15 and 16 October 2025, and the school’s Principal, Ruma Malhotra, received them on behalf of the institution.
On this occasion, the Governor of Uttarakhand, Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) congratulated the Principal and its Trustee, Hemant Arora, on the school’s remarkable achievements and its continued contribution to the education of underprivileged girls.
These recognitions stand as a testament to Him Jyoti School’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and service in education.
