Dehradun, 28 Jan: The newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar, Prof Ramakant Pandey, paid a courtesy call on the Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd), today at the Lok Bhawan, here.
On this occasion, the Governor congratulated Prof. Pandey on his new responsibility. The Governor also discussed matters related to the university’s academic activities, research work, and issues concerning the preservation and promotion of the Sanskrit language.
