DEHRADUN, 14 Nov: The Parade Ground rang out with cheers for the muscular male and female athletes of Pro Panja League as they clashed in epic battles while People’s ArmWrestling Federation of India President and Actress Preeti Jhangiani and Co-Founder Pro Panja League Actor Parvin Dabas looked on from the front row of the huge audience gathered for the event. The last match was saved for Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) who entered to huge applause accompanied by Special Secretary Sports Amit Sinha.
The Governor greatly enjoyed the show and later in his speech spoke about how Pro Panja was reviving forgotten sports and how the muscular athletes seemed like Hanuman themselves! The Governor’s time ended with a picture on the ArmWrestling table with Parvin Dabas.
