Dehradun, 12 Dec: Experts discussed various chemical processes, environmental protection, the development of new materials, and sustainable technological innovations at Graphic Era, here, today.
Graphic Era Deemed University organised the closing ceremony of the two-day international conference on the role of chemistry in sustainable development goals. In technical sessions of the conference, more than 100 research papers were presented on diverse and relevant topics such as waste management, green chemistry, sustainable chemical innovations, eco-friendly alternatives in the hydrocarbon industry, energy conservation techniques, bio-chemical analysis, polymer science, catalysis, and improving the efficiency of industrial processes. Scientists, researchers, and experts from India and abroad participated in the conference through both online and offline modes.
The international conference was organised by the Chemistry Department of Graphic Era Deemed University. The conference was attended by the Chief Scientist of Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dr Rajkumar; Head of Chemistry Department, Dr Abhilasha Mishra, Dr Bhavna, Dr Wasim Ahmed, Dr Arunima Nayak, Dr Harish Chandra Joshi, along with other faculty members and students. The programme was hosted by Dr Rekha Goswami.
