‘Tera Ghaata’ singer Gajendra Verma performs live in Doon

DEHRADUN, 1 Jan: Gajendra Verma, the singer of iconic songs like ‘Tera Ghaata’, ‘Mann Mera’ and ‘Emptiness’, performed live in Doon on New Year’s Eve. A large number of people attended.
The highlight of the evening included a spectacular performance by Singer Gajendra Verma. He charmed the Doonites with his soulful renditions.
He sang most of his original compositions like ‘Tera Ghaata’, ‘Mann Mera’, ‘Tuney mere jaana’, ‘O Sajana’, ‘Baarish’ as well as covers of hit Bollywood numbers.
On the occasion, Gajendra said, “This is my second time performing live in Dehradun. I love the city and its vibes. The people here are full of zeal and zest. I like singing songs which I like to sing. I don’t sing for the heck of it.”
Talking about his upcoming single, he revealed, “The song that I have recently released, titled ‘Khelegi kya’, is all about the thoughts and feelings which go through the minds of newly committed couples.”
Later during the evening, Delhi based DJ Aceaxe captivated the audience with his rocking DJ tracks. People were seen grooving to his tunes.
Performances by local artists were also held on the occasion. Three RJs Kaavya, Atishay and Gaurav also performed and interacted with the audience.
