Haridwar, 12 Jan: A “6-Day Integrated Yoga, Naturopathy and AYUSH-Based Training Programme” for yoga instructors working at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs under the State Homeopathy Department concluded successfully today. The training was conducted from 7 to 12 January at Patanjali Wellness, Haridwar, organised by Divya Yog Mandir Trust in collaboration with the Patanjali Herbal Research Division, Patanjali Research Foundation.
The primary objective of the programme was to strengthen integrated healthcare services by enhancing the professional skills and practical efficiency of yoga instructors. The training was held under the directions of Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna.
During the programme, participants received comprehensive training in subjects including Yoga, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Diet Therapy, Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga Psychology, and Therapeutic Yoga. Renowned experts such as Dr Ajit Rana, Dr Vivek Chaurasia, Dr Anoop Saini, Vaidya Pavnesh Maurya, Dr Prashant Katiyar, Arjun Yogi, and Mayur Chauhan served as resource persons.
On the final day, participants took part in practical demonstrations, case study presentations, evaluations, and the formal valedictory session.
The closing ceremony was attended by Dr Vikas Thakur, Nodal Officer and District Homeopathy Medical Officer. He appreciated the high quality, disciplined organisation, and rich academic content of the training, describing it as highly useful for the effective implementation of integrated healthcare services at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs. He also expressed interest in continued collaboration for similar training programmes in the future.
Speakers emphasised that this initiative is a significant step toward strengthening the National AYUSH Mission and the concept of holistic healthcare at the grassroots level, ensuring the expansion of quality, scientific, and yoga-based healthcare services within the community.
