3 scholars cleared for PhDs at Patanjali University

Haridwar, 17 Jun: Three researchers completed their PhD research work in the auditorium of Patanjali University and qualified for the doctorate degree. Swami Bajrangdev completed his research work on the topic, ‘Comparative study in Sankhya-Yoga and Buddhist Philosophy’, under the guidance of Prof Sadhvi Devpriya, Chairperson of Oriental Studies Faculty of the University.

Prof Brajbhushan Ojha of Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, was present as an external examiner. Also, under the guidance of Associate Professor of Psychology Department Dr Abhishek Kumar Bhardwaj, Neha completed her research work on ‘Effect of traditional wellness therapy on anthropometry and psychological parameters in obese participants’. Priyanshi Kaushik completed her research work on ‘Effectiveness of yoga practice on physical condition balance, sleep quality and psychological parameters in old age’. Associate Professor Dr Anuja Rawat of the University and Associate Professor Dr Arun Kumar Singh of Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University were also present.

The main oral examination of the researchers was conducted in the presence of subject experts and external examiners, after which the examiners recommended the award of PhD degree to the researchers.
