DEHRADUN, 20 May: Carman School Dalanwala celebrated its 63rd Annual Speech & Prize Distribution on Friday. Former Chairman of the State Minorities Commission and presently the Chairman of Shri Hemkunt Sahib Management Trust, Narender Jit Singh Bindra was the Chief Guest for the occasion.
Principal Susan Mann gave the annual report after which Bindra gave out the certificates to all the Scholars and Prize winners. Trophies were also awarded to the various houses for the Inter House Activities.
Later an entertaining programme was put up by the students. The junior school presented the Play Alice in Wonderland, whereas the middle school put up Tanali Rama, a comedy in Hindi. My Fair Lady was showcased by the Senior School Students with their very own twist to the play. Between these plays the School Choir and Band performed extremely well.
The chief guest thanked the Director and Principal and also congratulated all children for putting up an excellent show. The guests who attended the program were Principals of different schools, dignitaries, parents, teachers and all school staff.
