New Delhi, 1 Apr: In a moment of great pride and emotional significance, Prof SS Dogra, accompanied by his wife Sunita Dogra, had the honour of presenting the first copy of his latest English book, You Can Rise & Shine, to eminent scholar, statesman and Padma Vibhushan awardee Karan Singh at his residence in New Delhi.
Dr Karan Singh graciously penned the Foreword to the book, enriching it with his dignified words and profound reflections. In his message, he highlighted Prof Dogra’s continued dedication to education and student motivation, noting that this new work meaningfully carries forward that inspiring journey.
Elaborating on the central theme of the book, Dr Singh observed that humanity stands above any religion or civilisation, emphasising that the true measure of any civilisation lies in its human values. He further remarked that the book, comprising 46 concise chapters, offers valuable teachings that can inspire students to maximise their potential and achievements.
Prof Dogra expressed his deep gratitude for Dr Karan Singh’s blessings and encouragement, describing the Foreword as one of the most significant and cherished milestones of his literary career. He also extended heartfelt thanks to Archana Publication for their support in bringing the book to readers.
