New Delhi, 21 Jul: Uttarakhand Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi paid a courtesy call on Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General NS Raja Subramani at Uttarakhand Sadan in New Delhi, today.
During the meeting, the Minister congratulated General Subramani on his appointment as the Chief of Defence Staff and wished him a successful tenure. The two also held detailed discussions on military traditions, their association with the Garhwal Rifles, and the glorious legacy of the Indian Army.
During the interaction, Minister Ganesh Joshi requested the CDS to facilitate a performance by an Indian Army band at the under-construction Sainya Dham in Dehradun and to extend the Indian Army’s support for the development of the military museum being established at the memorial. Responding positively, General Subramani assured the Minister that the officials concerned would be directed to take the necessary action and that every possible assistance would be extended.
On the occasion, Minister Ganesh Joshi also invited CDS General NS Raja Subramani to attend a reception being organised by ex-servicemen in Dehradun in September.
