Dehradun, 3 Aug: Prof (Dr) Anubha Singh, Vice-Chancellor of COER University, Roorkee, paid a courtesy call on Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd), at the Lok Bhawan, here, today.
During the meeting, she gave a presentation on the University’s initiatives in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and modern technology. The presentation also highlighted the institution’s ongoing work in AI and technology, along with its future plans in these areas.
The Governor emphasised the importance of innovation, research and the effective use of modern technologies in higher education. He said that institutions of higher learning should continuously strive to equip students with the skills and technological competencies required to meet the demands of the future.
The meeting was also attended by Dr Rajesh Kumar, Pro Vice-Chancellor of COER University, and Dr Deepak Painyuli, Associate Professor.
