New Delhi, 4 Oct: A soulful poetic and musical evening, titled “Ghazal Usne Chhedi”, dedicated to the legendary poet, Dr. Bashir Badr, was organised by the India Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC), Delhi, in collaboration with Applause Adab on 3 October.
The programme brought together distinguished personalities from the fields of literature, poetry and music. Dr. S. Farooq, President, Himalaya Wellness Company, also attended the literary and cultural evening and appreciated the efforts to preserve and promote the rich tradition of Urdu poetry and ghazal.
The evening featured renowned ghazal singer Farrukh Baig and noted poet Aalok Shrivastav, who enthralled the audience with soulful renditions and poetry. Their performances created an atmosphere of literary warmth and musical elegance.
