ITBP, Rotary Club, Inner Wheel Club plant 400 saplings in Mussoorie

Mussoorie, 12 Jul: The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, Mussoorie, in collaboration with Inner Wheel Club and Rotary Club, conducted a tree plantation drive in the hills of ITBP (Combat Wing) campus in which more than 400 deodar and cypress trees and 5 poplar trees were planted. On this occasion, IG, ITBP, PS Dangwal appealed to everyone to plant a tree in the courtyard of their home for environmental protection. He said that as part of its commitment to make green the mountains situated towards the east, ITBP has planted a total of 3000 trees this month and this campaign will continue. He said that the resolution to plant trees is not only in the interest of the country but also in the interest of the world.

Rotary Club President Sanjay Jain said that to keep the air clean, more should be planted so that global warming can be avoided. He said that in today’s era, summers are getting hotter and tragedies are happening due to floods and storms. At some places, the cold is more than necessary. The the imbalance is increasing due to the lack of trees.

College principal Sunil Uppal praised the work of ITBP.

On this occasion DIG Nishith Chandra, DIG (Training) Rajesh Sharma, Commandant (Training) Jiju S, Rotary Club of Mussoorie President Sanjay Jain, Renu Jain, Manaranjan Tripathi, Kiran Tripathi, Ganesh Rautela, DC Suresh Nautiyal, Inner Wheel Club President Rita Jain along with members, Vipul Mittal, Ashwani Mittal, Shailendra Karnawal, Manmohan Karnawal, NK Sahni, Arjun Kaintura, Nupur Karnawal Kaintura, Yogita Goel, Manish Goel, Jayawanti Karnawal, Monica Agarwal, Reena Mathur, Rashmi Karnawal, Manishi Singhal, Anita Jain and many others were also present.
