Joshi pays tribute to Doda martyrs

Dehradun, 17 July: Minister Ganesh Joshi participated in the tribute program organized at the camp office at Hathi Barkala on the martyrdom of Indian Army soldiers who were martyred during an encounter with terrorists in Urar Bagi, Doda, Jammu, and paid emotional tribute to the martyrs by offering wreaths.
Joshi expressed deep condolences on the martyrdom of Darjeeling resident martyr Captain Brijesh Thapa, Naik D Rajesh, resident of Andhra Pradesh, Sepoy Bijendra, resident of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan and Jhunjhunu Sepoy Ajay Kumar. He said that while performing duty to protect the country, our army has shown its bravery in the anti-terrorism campaign.
Joshi prayed to God to give place to the souls of the departed in his feet and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this immense grief.  The minister said that it is the duty of every citizen to respect the martyrs. He also directed the officials of the Sainik Welfare Department to send a condolence message to the families of the martyrs in the context of today’s mourning meeting. He said that the history from 1947 till today is that Pakistan has lost to India every time in a face-to-face war. He said that the Indian Army will definitely avenge the martyrdom of each and every soldier. He said that in this hour of grief, the whole country stands with the families of the brave soldiers.
On this occasion, District Sainik Welfare Officer Colonel Virendra Bhatt, Mandal President Pradeep Rawat, Jyoti Kotia, Vishnu Gupta, Surendra Rana, Poonam Nautiyal, Chunni Lal, Niranjan Dobhal, Vandana Thakur, Bhupendra Kathet, Satendra Nath, Dinesh Pradhan, Arvind Dobhal, Vinay Gupta, Bhavana Chaudhary, and many others were present.
