Dehradun, 3 Oct: Uttarakhand Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) engaged in dialogue with ex-servicemen at the Chandimandir Military Station in Panchkula, Haryana, today.
During this meeting, various issues related to their welfare were discussed, including pension concerns and challenges of ECHS and CSD facilities. The Governor stated that ex-servicemen are part of his extended family and assured that efforts would be made to resolve their issues.

The Governor emphasised the high standards of training for Agniveers, describing it as crucial for national security and nation-building. He praised the commitment and capabilities of the Agniveers.
Earlier, the Governor toured the museum highlighting the glorious history of the Western Command, where he honoured the contributions of brave soldiers and paid tribute at the War Memorial.
During his visit to Haryana, the Governor also visited the Mata Mansa Devi Temple to pray for the prosperity and well-being of the citizens.
