Mussoorie, 27 Dec: The Second Edition of the Mussoorie Film Festival (MFF) began today at the picturesque Brentwood Resort in Mussoorie, drawing a vibrant crowd of film enthusiasts, industry professionals, and filmmakers. The festival opened with a captivating lineup of diverse and thought-provoking films, celebrating global cinema and artistic storytelling.
The first day featured a range of films, each showcasing unique perspectives and creative visions. A total of 12 films were screened (one fiction feature, two feature length documentaries and 9 short films).
Anshul Uniyal, the cinematographer of the feature length documentary, “Bed Chal”, was present at the festival, and interacted with the audience answering questions about the movie after the screening.
Later in the evening, Naveen Chamoli, member of Himalayan Mountaineering Federation presented the film, ” The Ascent of Mount Meru”, which is a documentary about the challenging expedition to scale Mount Meru.
