DEHRADUN, 27 Jan: The Himalayan Public School organized a literary event, Kavi Sammelan, in the loving memory of Anju Arya on Friday. The event successfully brought together a diverse audience to celebrate the beauty of Hindi poetry, with renowned poets captivating the gathering with their powerful verses. The event featured prominent poets including Kavita Tiwari (Lucknow), Bhuvan Mohini (Indore), Priyanshu Gajendra (Barabanki), the popular Meeruthi, Apoorv Bikram Shah (Bihar), Manzar Bhopali (Bhopal) and Amber Kharbanda (Dehradun), who truly mesmerized the audience with their thought-provoking and inspiring poetry.
The Chief Guest for the evening was Tarun Vijay, former Member of Rajya Sabha, while the programme was chaired by Dr S Farooq. The event was also attended by distinguished personalities such as School Chairman Aditya Arya, School Vice-Chairman Finance Ayush V Arya, School Secretary Archita Chaudhary, Special Invitee Somya Arya, School Principal Ena Banerjee, school staff and other eminent guests, whose presence added to the event’s grandeur.
