Dehradun, 6 Feb: Vice Chancellor of Uttaranchal University, Prof Dharmabuddhi made a presentation on the progress of research under the “One University – One Research” scheme before Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) at the Raj Bhavan, here, today.
The research being conducted by Uttaranchal University is on the topic – “Industry 4.0 and Sustainable Development”. The Vice Chancellor explained that the primary objective of this research is to identify issues related to sustainable development in Uttarakhand and to utilise Industry 4.0 technologies to find solutions to these problems.
The Governor stated that the research being carried out in the fields of Industry 4.0 and sustainable development is extremely important. This research will not only benefit from new technologies but will also bring about positive changes in areas related to the environment, health, and safety. He congratulated and extended his best wishes to the university for this research. The event was attended by Secretary to the Governor, Ravinath Raman, Additional Secretary Swati S Bhadoria, and Joint Director, Information, Dr Nitin Upadhyay.
