Mussoorie, 23 May: Soldiers’ Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi participated in the ‘Tiranga Samman Yatra’ held in Mussoorie on Friday, dedicated to the historic success of Operation Sindoor conducted by the Indian Armed Forces. The yatra started from Tehri Bus Stand and concluded at Gandhi Chowk, with thousands of enthusiastic participants including local citizens, youth, women, and ex-servicemen carrying the tricolour with pride.
Throughout the journey, the air resonated with patriotic slogans and songs, reflecting the deep love and respect for the nation. On this occasion, Minister Ganesh Joshi stated that Operation Sindoor is a glorious chapter in India’s military history. He emphasised that this was not just a military victory but a symbol of sacrifice for the country’s integrity and security.
He added, “Today’s India has changed. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country no longer merely issues warnings but takes decisive and bold action when needed.” Minister Joshi asserted that terrorism can no longer intimidate India. “India now knows how to strike directly at the heart of terror,” he said.
He further stated that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India is fully capable of responding strongly to any terror threat. “India’s might has proven that no enemy can now dare look at our borders with ill intent,” he said. “We now respond to bullets with bombs, and to wounds with fierce counterstrikes.”
Minister Joshi highlighted how Indian forces targeted and destroyed terrorist camps on Pakistani soil. Not only that, but advanced drones and missiles also struck at military installations of the Pakistani army that supported terrorism. “Within just two days, the Indian Army showcased such unprecedented valour that Pakistan was forced to plead for a ceasefire through its DGMO,” he said.
He concluded by saying that this is clear proof of India’s military strength, strategic capability, and decisive leadership. “Today’s India does not tolerate threats—it strikes back and responds to enemies of peace in their own language.”
Prominent attendees included Municipal Chairperson Meera Saklani, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) National Vice President Neha Joshi, Mandal President Rajat Agarwal, Mohan Petwal, OP Uniyal, Kushal Rana, Satish Dhaundiyal, and hundreds of enthusiastic participants.
