DEHRADUN, 2 Aug: Successful professionals who once studied at Graphic Era returned to guide the new students by sharing key lessons for success in the corporate world.
These alumni were speaking at the Induction Programme organized at Graphic Era Deemed University. Senior Director and Global Head of Banking Technology at Acuity Knowledge Partners Sameer Goyal shared that students can achieve great heights in their careers by shaping the knowledge and skills they learn in classrooms to match industry needs. A proud alumnus of Graphic Era, Goyal highlighted that qualities like teamwork, effective communication, and professional ethics play a key role in long-term success. Senior Vice President at Aviva Life Insurance Arvind Joshi, also a former student of Graphic Era, said that success in the corporate world doesn’t come from knowledge alone but from the right mindset and a habit of continuous learning. He encouraged students to treat every situation as an opportunity and to be brave enough to go beyond their limits.
To showcase the creativity and talent of students, a Talent Fest was also organized. The performances in music and dance reflected the students’ deep dedication to art.
The event was held at the Silver Jubilee Convention Centre and hosted by Sakshi Gupta. B Tech Coordinator Himanshu Goyal, Rajesh Pokhriyal, Mohit Kapoor, other faculty members, and students were present at the event.
