DEHRADUN, 20 Aug: A group show of Artists was organized at Centrio Mall. The exhibition was curated by Satpal Gandhi where 29 Artists of different backgrounds participated with their works. They were mostly painters who had used varied mediums of painting like water and oil colors, acrylic, charcoal, etc. Besides the painters there were two two sculptors as well – Vicky Arya & Satpal S Gandhi.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Col (Retd) Vijay Dougall of Kala Kendra and social activist Biju Negi was the Guest of Honour. Artist workshop was planned on Sunday, 17th Aug, where around 10 artists participated in a live painting workshop.
The exhibition was curated with the support of Centrio Mall and it is running successfully as there are many footfalls daily to see the artworks of various artists. It will stay on till 24th of August.
Apart from different forms of painting, there was a unique artist who creates artwork with finger nails, Col Bharat Bhandari (Retd).
A group of proud pahadis led by Gaurav Bisht supported the event by working at the backend to execute the art exhibition.
