Dehradun, 12 Sep: Kasiga School hosted the General Rawat Memorial Lecture Series 2025, a solemn and inspiring event held in honour of the late Chief of Defence Staff, General Bipin Rawat. The lecture series is a tribute to General Rawat’s enduring legacy and the values he championed—courage, leadership, and service to the nation.
Lt Gen VK Ahluwalia (Retd) was the Chief Guest. The event commenced with a wreath-laying ceremony followed by paying homage to General Rawat’s contributions to the Armed Forces and the country.
The formal proceedings began with an invocation and a welcome address by the Headmaster, setting the tone for an afternoon of reflection and inspiration. The erudite address by Lt Gen Ahluwalia not only paid fitting tribute to the illustrious legacy of the late General Bipin Rawat but also left an indelible impression on every member present on the occasion.
In his inaugural lecture, Lt Gen Ahluwalia shared profound insights drawn from his distinguished military career, inspiring students with stories of valour and leadership. His interaction during the Q&A session left a lasting impression, as he responded to student queries with warmth and wisdom, encouraging many to consider a future in the Armed Forces.
A commemorative souvenir was presented to the Chief Guest by the Chairman. Among the dignitaries present were the Headmaster and the Deputy Head of School. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the national anthem.
