Delhi, 3 Dec: Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj paid a courtesy call on Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, here, today. During the meeting, the Union Minister presented him a book titled “Ek Safar Humsafar Ke Saath”, written about his wife Pana Devi, acknowledging her contribution to his success.
On Wednesday, Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj met Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal at his residence in New Delhi. During the interaction, the Union Minister spoke about the important role played by his wife, Pana Devi, in his achievements and gifted Maharaj the book “Ek Safar Humsafar Ke Saath”.
Maharaj said that, in the book, Meghwal shares his life experiences and struggles with his wife, highlighting her significant role in his personal and professional journey. He has acknowledged that his success is greatly owed to her unwavering support.
Maharaj further shared that Pana Devi is a simple homemaker who dedicated her life to supporting her husband. He mentioned that during Meghwal’s student days, he often faced difficulty arranging his school fees, and at that time, his wife Pana Devi earned money through handicraft work and used it to support his education. Even after their marriage, it was Pana Devi who encouraged him repeatedly to continue his studies and supported him at every step.
The book “Ek Safar Humsafar Ke Saath” is undoubtedly a comprehensive account of his wife’s contribution and dedication throughout his journey, and serves as an inspiration for all.
