Bageshwar, 18 Dec: “To improve the quality of education in government schools, the government’s focus is on primary schools. The model of the Adarsh Primary School in Kapkot will be implemented across the basic schools of the state to strengthen and motivate young children at the primary level. itself.”
This was stated by Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat while felicitating the Principal of Adarsh Primary School, Kapkot, Khayali Datt Sharma, for the school’s achievements and excellent management. He also praised the dedicated efforts of the teachers.
Dr Rawat announced that Rs 107 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of a new building for the school.
On his visit to Bageshwar district, Education Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat, today, visited the Rajkiya Adarsh Primary School, Kapkot. During his visit, he obtained information from the school administration regarding the academic activities being conducted at the school. Dr Rawat stated that the school is not only excellent in its academic activities but has also gained a distinct recognition across the country for its achievements. This school is an inspiration for primary education.
Dr Rawat emphasised that, if teachers in government schools teach children with dedication, other primary schools in the state can also achieve similar successes. He added that, soon, through the Vidya Samiksha Kendra, the activities of each school will be monitored to address any shortcomings. He further stated that efforts will be made to motivate children to participate in competitive exams from the primary level, and an environment conducive to this will be created in the schools.
Dr. Rawat honoured Principal Khayali Datt Sharma with a certificate of appreciation for his dedication and the achievements of the Rajkiya Adarsh Primary School, Kapkot. Dr Rawat said that such individuals write new chapters in history. Thanks to his skilful management, tireless hard work, and dedicated efforts, the school has earned nationwide recognition for its academic activities. An example of this achievement is the selection of 22 students from the school for the Military School, which is historic in itself. During his visit, Dr Rawat also met students of the school and inquired about their studies. He also met the parents and locals.
During the visit, MLA, Kapkot, Suresh Gadiya, BJP District President Indra Farswan, former Cabinet Minister Balwant Singh Bhoryal, District Panchayat President Basanti Devi, and departmental officers were also present.
