Mussoorie, 9 Apr: CJM Hampton Court School celebrated its Annual Prize Distribution Day 2026 with great zeal, centred on the theme “Peace and Culture”. The Chief Guest on the occasion was, Deepak Rawat, Commissioner, Kumaon Division, and Secretary to the Chief Minister. He is also a distinguished alumnus of the institution. Also present was Principal Sister Ivy.

The programme began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by prayer and cultural presentations. A mime performance by Class X students on the cost of war conveyed a powerful message on the importance of peace.

Prizes were awarded to students from LKG to Class XII for academic excellence, and special prizes were also announced to recognise outstanding achievements. Cultural dance performances added colour and vibrancy to the celebration, reflecting the richness of tradition.

In his address, Deepak Rawat spoke on the significance of peace and culture, encouraging students to uphold values of harmony and unity. He further emphasised that true education not only imparts knowledge but also nurtures responsible and compassionate citizens. He also advised students to use mobile phones wisely in today’s digital age and highlighted the importance of spending time in meaningful activities such as walking and connecting with the real world.

Many alumni members were also present on this occasion. Principal Sister Ivy and Superior Sister Anita Matthew were also present. Coordinators Rekha Singh and Nandini Singh were also present on the occasion.
