Mussoorie, 3 Jun: The Annual School Fete 2026, one of the most eagerly awaited events in the school calendar, was held with great enthusiasm and grandeur today at St George’s College, here. The entire Manorite family assembled at 9 a.m. on the School Middle Flat for a memorable day filled with fun, excitement, fellowship and community spirit.
The Chief Guest was Girish Chandra Upadhyay, IG/Director, ITBP Academy, Mussoorie, who was warmly welcomed and presented with a potted plant as a token of gratitude and appreciation. The programme was also attended by Superior Brother Britto; Principal Brother Jeyaseelan S; Vice-Principal Brother Sylvanus Kerketta; Principal of Nirmala Inter College, Mussoorie, Brother Alphonse Tirkey; and Brother Lawrence Kujur.

Vedant Vardhan of Class XII formally introduced the Chief Guest and extended a cordial welcome to the distinguished guests, parents, staff members and students from neighbouring schools.
A significant highlight of the event was the unveiling of the ‘Annual School Magazine 2025’ and the inaugural edition of the school newsletter, ‘The Manor Times’. The publications were formally released by Chief Guest Girish Chandra Upadhyay, in the presence of Superior Brother Britto, marking an important milestone in the institution’s literary and journalistic endeavours.
The much-awaited Lucky Draw generated tremendous excitement among the attendees and culminated in the distribution of a host of attractive prizes. Viraaj Patel of Class VI-B emerged as the winner of the first prize, a Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS car. Other major prize winners included Chitra Rani, who won a TVS Apache RTR 160; Geetika Khanna, who received an iPhone 17 Pro; Brother Sylvanus Kerketta, who won a Honda Activa; Ronav Gupta, who received a 55-inch Samsung LED Television; Sachet Goel of Class IX-B, who won an Apple MacBook; Tanav Keyal of Class VI-A, who received a Canon EOS R100 DSLR Camera; Prikshit Rawat of Class V-A, who won an Apple iPad (A16) Wi-Fi; and Arvind Singh, who received a Samsung Galaxy A17 5G Smartphone.
The Consolation Prizes were equally appreciated by the winners. Aaradhya Singh of Class VIII-A won a Faber OTG 34 Litres, while Atharav Bhusewar of Class X-B received a Faber Electric Air Fryer 6 Litres. Dhruv Agarwal of Class VI-B won Boat Airdopes 191 ANC Wireless Earphones, Mehul of Class XII-C received a VIP Chromium Strolly, and Shashwat Mall won Boat Rockerz 550 Wireless Headphones. Danish Jain of Class XI-C received a Portronics 15W Portable Wireless Speaker, Shriyan Sharma of Class VIII-A won a Fastrack Smartwatch, Rudra Agarwal of Class VIII-C received a Kenstar Estella Prism Electric Kettle (1.8 Litres), Bhavya Syngal of Class VIII-B won a Cello Opalware Dinner Set, and Priyesh Garg of Class V-A received a Portronics Eco Glow Rechargeable LED Flashlight.
The fete featured a vibrant array of games, food stalls and band performances, which drew enthusiastic participation from students, parents, alumni and visitors.
The lively atmosphere, coupled with the spirit of camaraderie and celebration, made the event an unforgettable experience for all present.
At the conclusion of the festivities, Chief Guest Girish Chandra Upadhyay was presented a memento by Brother Jeyaseelan S as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation for his presence and encouragement.
The event fostered a sense of unity and belonging among students, staff, parents and alumni, reinforcing the values and traditions that define the Manorite family.
