Dehradun, 20 December: Aristotle house lifted the trophy in boys’ category of Inter school Football Tournament of Graphic Era Global School. Arjun Ghanshala and Aradhna Thakuri were awarded with the Promising Players of the Tournament award.
The event was inaugurated by Chairman, Graphic Era Group of Institutions Dr Kamal Ghanshala. The final match was played between Aristotle and Galileo house. In the exciting match Arjun, Abhinav, Om, Shaurya and Nishchit scored 1 goal each. Galileo house with Shivansh’s 3 and Shaifulla’s 1 goal won the second position. In the girls’ category, Gaileo house bagged the first position with Einstein house as runner ups. In the tournament Aradhana 4, Pragya 2, Tooba 1 and Khushi scored 2 goals from the Galileo house and Lavanya 3, Saisa 2, Sheeri 2 and Gargi scored 1 goal for Einstein house.
Dr Kamal Ghanshala presented the trophy and medals to the winners. While congratulating the winners of the tournament he said that winning in sports inspires us to move ahead and losing inspires us to become stronger and work harder. Discipline and game spirit plays an important role in every success and at every stage of life. Practical knowledge is gained through sports.
Graphic Era Global School’s Principal Seema Issar, Vice Chancellor Graphic Era Hill University Dr Sanjay Jasola along with teachers and students of Global school were present in the event.
