Assembly approves Budget for FY 2022-23

Dehradun, 17 Jun: The House today passed the State Budget for the FY 2022-23 to the tune of Rs 55,071 crores after three days of discussion. While the members of the treasury benches praised the budget and claimed it would take the state ahead, the Opposition members criticised the budget claiming that the government had not allocated enough funds under various schemes and projects. Finance Minister Premchand Aggarwal responded to certain queries raised by the Opposition before the budget was passed.

Today, the Government also tabled the Economic Survey Report for Uttarakhand (Volume 1) for the year 2021-22 which claims several achievements of the government under various schemes and projects and in respect of many financial decisions. The report was tabled by Finance Minister Premchand Aggarwal.

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission’s Annual Report for the year 2020-21 was also tabled in the House today.
