BJP appoints observers for municipal elections in U’khand

Dehradun, 16 Dec: BJP has appointed observers for the civic elections. The lists in this connection were released today by the party.
State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that the senior leaders have been assigned the responsibility of observers in the Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayats by the organisation.
Senior party leaders Suresh Bhatt who is currently a Lal Batti holder, MLA Purola Durgeshwar Lal and Sanjay Gupta who is State Coordinator of Legal Cell of the party have been appointed as party observers for Dehradun Nagar Nigam polls. Party General Secretary Khilendra Chaudhary, State Party Secretary Meera Raturi and Shashank Rawat have been appointed observers for Haridwar. Jaipal Singh Chauhan, MLA Asha Nautiyal and Shyam Dobhal have been appointed observers for Rishikesh Municipal Corporation polls.
Mukesh Koli, Sahdev Pundeer (MLA from Sahaspur) and Madhu Bhatt have been appointed observers for Roorkee Nagar Nigam polls. Party General Secretary Aditya Kothari, Bhupal Ram Tamta and Neha Joshi have been appointed observers for Nagar Nigam Srinagar (Pauri), Kailash Sharma, Rajkumar Pori and Manoj Garg have been appointed for Kotdwar Nagar Nigam.
Rajendra Bist, Hema Joshi and Suresh Garhia (MLA) have been appointed as observers in Pithoragarh Nagar Nigam polls. Balwant Singh Bhauryal, Meena Gangola and Shiv Arora (MLA) have been appointed as observers in Almora. Kedar Joshi, Rajesh Kumar and Gaurav Pande have been appointed observers in Nainital. Shailendra Bist, Rajesh Shukla and Mohan Pal have been appointed observers for Kashipur. Govind Singh Bist, Saket Aggarwal and Sarita Arya (MLA) have been appointed observers for Rudrapur.
Observers have also been appointed for the polls of Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats.
