BJP President Nadda to hold rallies in Pithoragarh, Haridwar & Vikasnagar

Dehradun, 2 Apr: The Uttarakhand BJP is now fully geared up for a mega election campaign for the ongoing Parliamentary polls. With Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing his first rally in the state today in Rudrapur for the current elections, BJP has increased the tempo and momentum of its campaign on the state’s five Lok Sabha Seats. After Modi’s rally today, it will be the turn of BJP National President JP Nadda to address three rallies here. He is scheduled to arrive in the state on 4 April on a 2-day tour. His programme as scheduled earlier has seen some minor changes. While, earlier, JP Nadda was to arrive in Uttarakhand on 3 April and stay till 4 April, he will now reach here on 4 April for a 2-day tour.

Speaking to Garhwal Post, BJP State General Secretary Aditya Kothari revealed that, as per the information received from JP Nadda’s office, he will now address his first rally in the state in the ongoing elections at Pithoragarh on 4 April, following which he will arrive in Dehradun on the same day. In the evening, he will participate in a road show in Vikasnagar. Later, he will also attend the Core Committee meeting of the BJP in Dehradun which will be attended by the CM and other office bearers of the party.

Aditya Kothari also shared that JP Nadda will stay the night in Dehradun on 4 April and will leave next morning for Haridwar where he will address a mega rally on 5 April. Apart from this, Nadda will also hold meetings with workers of different levels and will work to energise them regarding the Lok Sabha elections.

Kothari added that BJP will also celebrate its foundation day on 6 April, regarding which the Uttarakhand unit has completed its preparations. He said that on the foundation day of the party, special tasks have been given to the workers in all the districts. The party will organise programmes up to the Shakti Kendra level in every district.
