Srinagar (Pauri), 15 Mar: BJP’s candidate from Pauri and outgoing Rajya Sabha MP Anil Baluni today launched his election campaign by seeking blessings from Kandolia Devta at the temple here today. In addition, he also laid the foundation stone of a planetarium and mountain museum to be set up here in memory of first Chief of Defence Staff Gen (late) Bipin Rawat. Baluni laid the foundation stone of both the institutions near Ransi Maidan. Baluni inspected the identified land closely and also participated in the Bhoomi Pujan programme. On becoming BJP candidate from Pauri Lok Sabha seat, Anil Baluni reached Kandolia temple and sought blessings of Kandolia Devta for a victory here. After laying the foundation stones of planetarium and mountain museum:, Baluni said that after the completion of the construction of the planetarium, students and astronomy lovers will be able to easily get information about astronomy here. Mountain Museum will introduce everyone to the culture of Uttarakhand. Anil Baluni said that the planetarium and mountain museum will be named after the country’s first CDS, late Bipin Rawat. Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj, Devprayag MLA Vinod Kandari and Pauri MLA Rajkumar Pori were also present with him.
Speaking on the occasion, Satpal Maharaj claimed that BJP will sweep all the five Parliamentary seats in the Lok Sabha elections.
