MUSSOORIE, 7 Dec: Ajay Tamta, Union Minister of State, Textiles, interacted with media persons here while on his way to Uttarkashi, today. He said that, in 2019, the BJP would again form the government with a full majority under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi.
He said that, on Thursday, the Uttarakhand BJP core committee meeting was held to formulate a strategy for the coming 2019 Lok Sabha election. The party was confident it would win all five seats from Uttarakhand. The performance of the BJP in the local body elections was excellent.
Tamta claimed that the central government was committed to the development of the country and it was equally working hard for Uttarakhand. Work was being done to build roads in the entire country under the All Weather Road project. Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, free treatment of Rs Five lakh was being given to the poor and common n people. The Central Government was continuously working on various schemes for the development of the poor and common people of the country. He said that the national party that had ruled the country for more than 70 years was apprehensive as its foundation had been shaken. Other opposition parties in India belonged to particular persons who were interested only on personal benefit. Family politics would no longer to run the country. He asserted that the people were pleased with the work done by PM Modi and his government.
