Dehradun, 1 Aug: KS Chauhan, currently posted as Deputy Director in the pay band of Rs 15,600-39,100 and grade pay of Rs 6600 at the Information Department, has been promoted to Joint Director, Information Department, in the pay band level 12 in the scale of Rs 15,600-Rs 39,100 Grade Pay Rs 7,800 with effect from the day he takes charge.
It may be noted that Chauhan was proactively involved in film promotion activities during the tenure of former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, especially after the dissolution of the Uttarakhand Film Council.
In addition, Assistant Director Information, Ravi Bijarnia and Assistant Director Information Manoj Srivastava have also been promoted to the post of Deputy Director Information. Besides this, District Information Officers Archana and Badri Chand also have been promoted as Assistant Director Information. The orders to this effect have been issued under the signatures of Additional Secretary Information, Ranveer Singh Chauhan.
