DEHRADUN, 5 Dec: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the opening clap ceremony on the sets of the Film “Ankhon ki Gustakhiyan”, at Shaheen Bagh on Wednesday evening. A film Produced by Mini Films directed by Santosh Singh, starring Vikrant Massey, Shanaya Kapoor and Aarushi Nishank.
The producers Mansi and Varun Bagla and the film’s team, personally welcomed the Chief Minister on set, briefing him about the project’s vision and how it draws inspiration from the timeless storytelling of Ruskin Bond. Expressing his admiration, CM Dhami remarked, “I am glad to see young filmmakers like Mansi & Varun Bagla showcasing the state’s beauty while presenting a timeless story that celebrates love and human resilience.”
Actor Aarushi Nishank explained her character and why the film is a perfect fit for her. She praised the producer and director for their vision. Aarushi also thanked the Chief Minister for attending the event and acknowledged his efforts in supporting filmmakers and establishing a robust film policy in the state.
Producers Mansi and Varun Bagla echoed their commitment to showcasing the beauty of Uttarakhand while crafting a contemporary yet timeless love story. Mansi Bagla said, “We were very particular about casting the right actors for this romantic film. Vikrant Massey is a powerhouse of talent, and his chemistry with debutant Shanaya Kapoor is truly captivating. Aarushi Nishank, being a multi talented actor and a renowned native of Uttarakhand, adds an authentic touch to the film. We truly feel they are the perfect choice for the characters of our film.”
