DEHRADUN, 25 Dec: Over 1,400 children of Aasraa Trust attended the Christmas Carnival organised at MKP (PG) College. This is the third time when organisations joined hands to celebrate Christmas together.
This carnival was organised to create a loving and joyous day for the less fortunate children. Coming from Govindgarh, Kanwali Road, Parade Ground, Bindal slum, Suraj Basti, Choona Bhatta, MDDA Colony, children walked in excited to experience the fun and frolic of the event, indulge in yummy treats, swing through the friendly rides and receive goodies from the organisers. Almost 100 families attended this event along with Aasraa children and staff members.
Amit Balodi, Chief Operations Officer, Aasraa Trust, said, “Christmas is one of the biggest festivals celebrated all over the world. Crossing boundaries, it is awaited by people from all walks of life. Every year, we feel privileged to be able to bring cheer and magic into the lives of our children.
