DEHRADUN, 30 Aug: A UAE ‘Drill Cadre’ was conducted at Indian Military Academy from 15 July to 31 August. The Closing Ceremony of the course was held today at the Khetarpal Auditorium. The Chief Guest was IMA Commandant Lt Gen SK Jha. Col Farah Aida Helai Almazrouei, Deputy Defence Attache of UAE, also attended the ceremony. A total of 20 soldiers of the UAE Army successfully completed the Drill Cadre. The Commandant gave away the certificates and mementos to all the trainees. Warrant Officer Ahmad Mohammad Yousuf Haider Alblooshi was awarded the Trophy for being the Best Student in the drill course. The Commandant also addressed the gathering and conveyed his best wishes and commended the soldiers for having successfully completed the course. He added that this initiative and military cooperation will strengthen the bond between the two friendly nations.
