Dehradun, 18 Aug: Badminton player Lakshya Sen met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his residence, here, on Sunday.
The Chief Minister congratulated Lakshya Sen for his brilliant performance at the Paris Olympics and wished him a bright future.
Badminton player Lakshya Sen, who hails from Uttarakhand, had reached the bronze medal match in the Paris Olympics men’s singles badminton competition. The Chief Minister wished Lakshya Sen well for the upcoming competitions and said that he should showcase his sporting talent with full dedication in the upcoming games – the state government and the people of the state are with him. He said that when there is a strong will for a task, then success is definitely achieved.
On this occasion, Lakshya Sen’s mother, Nirmala Sen, father KD Sen, and Uttarakhand Badminton Association Secretary BS Mankoti were also present.
