DEHRADUN, 18 Sept: This year, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being celebrated as ‘Seva Pakhwada’. In this context, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami first reached the residence of Martyr Major Chitresh Bisht at Nehru Colony and then Martyr Major Vibhuti Dhoundiyal on Neshvilla Road on the morning of 17 September. Dhami paid tribute by laying flowers before the portraits of the martyrs. A cleanliness campaign was conducted by him outside the house of the martyrs. He felicitated the families of both the martyrs. He said that the sacrifice of brave sons of the country can never be forgotten and enquired about the families’ wellbeing.
On behalf of the people of Devbhoomi, he wished the Prime Minister Modi on his birthday and prayed to Baba Kedar and Badri Vishal for his long life.
Dhami said that India is progressing as a powerful, prosperous and harmonious nation under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. On the occasion of Seva Pakhwada, other programmes of cleanliness, blood donation, seminars and service are also being organised.
