CM inspects Yatra registration offices, seeks augmentation of facilities

Rishikesh, 27 May: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Rishikesh today and inspected the Char Dham Yatra Registration Office. He took stock of the arrangements in place for the devotees. During the inspection, the Chief Minister interacted with the devotees coming from different parts of the country and also sought their feedback regarding the arrangements.

He directed the officials to further strengthen the drinking water, food, sanitation and health checkup arrangements and other essential facilities. He also took stock of all the facilities in the resting area in the Registration Office, health centre and travel control room created for the convenience of the devotees. He instructed the officials concerned to work in coordination with each other and the pilgrims and to ensure that there is no inconvenience to the travellers.

The Chief Minister emphasised that the state government is continuously working for an easy, safe and convenient Char Dham Yatra.

On this occasion, Commissioner, Garhwal, Vinay Shankar Pandey, IG Police KS Naganyal and district administration officials were present.
