Haridwar, 8 Sep: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami laid the foundation stones of schemes worth Rs 941.39 lakhs a function held at Bhalla Sport Complex here today. These schemes will be operated by Haridwar-Roorkee Development Authority.
The Chief Minister said that overall development of the state is the objective of his government. He also expected everyone to cooperate in the development of the state.
Among the schemes for which the foundation stone was laid by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami related to construction of 3 cricket practice pitches from the infrastructure development fund of the authority under the development of the cricket stadium and indoor sports complex and construction of two lawn tennis courts at a cost Rs 61.23 lakh as well as for special repair of badminton court located in City Sports Complex and maintenance work of the entire building is Rs 2.4512 crores.
On this occasion, Haridwar Nagar MLA Madan Kaushik, District Panchayat President Kiran Chaudhary, former MLA Laksar Sanjay Gupta, BJP District President Haridwar Sandeep Goyal, Roorkee President Shobharam Prajapati, District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Garbyal, Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh were also present.
