Dehradun, 31 Jul: In a thought-provoking and emotionally stirring session held at Doon International School, Riverside Campus, on 30 July, students had the opportunity to engage with Colonel Manraj Singh Sohi, Commander of the Carriapa Battalion at the Indian Military Academy, here.

With a distinguished military career spanning 25 years across high-altitude regions, the deserts of Rajasthan, and the plains of Punjab, Colonel Sohi shared powerful insights into Operation Sindoor—a bold counter-terrorism mission launched in the wake of the Baisaran Valley carnage in Pahalgam on 22 April 2025.

Through vivid storytelling supported by maps, satellite imagery, photographs, and operational illustrations, Colonel Sohi shed light on contemporary warfare, cooperative military strategies, and the bravery of the Indian armed forces.

He emphasised, “India is never defensive. If anyone dares to tarnish our honour, we will not hesitate to retaliate.” His words resonated deeply with the audience, sparking a renewed sense of patriotism and admiration for the Armed Forces.

The session, organised in association with ADGPI (Additional Directorate General of Public Information), left students informed, inspired, and profoundly moved.

The school expressed its sincere gratitude to Colonel Sohi for bringing the saga of real-life courage and commitment into the hearts and minds of the next generation.
