Conference on cyber security in the G-20 ambit inaugurated in Gurugram

GURUGRAM, 13 July: Home Minister, Amit Shah participated in a two-day G-20 conference organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India on Crime and Security in the Age of NFTs, AI and Metaverse on Thursday.

More than 900 participants including G-20 countries, 9 special invitees, international organizations, technology leaders and domain experts from India and across the world are participating in this two-day conference.

Home Minister Amit Shah addressed the inaugural session of the conference. He stressed upon the need for cooperation at both the national and international levels to build cyber resilience in an increasingly connected world.

DG Police, Uttarakhand, Ashok Kumar also participated in the conference and said that this summit is a new and unique initiative of the G-20 Presidency and has real significance for current times.

The conference deliberated upon and shared practical strategies to combat cybercrime for safer cyberspace.

A stall of the Uttarakhand Police App has also been set up in this G-20 conference on cyber security.
