Dehradun, 25 Jan: The Congress high command has entrusted significant organisational responsibilities to four party leaders from Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand Mahila Congress President Jyoti Rautela and All India Congress Committee member from Rishikesh, Jayendra Ramola, have been deputed to Nagaland, while Badrinath MLA Lakhpat Butola and Almora MLA Manoj Tiwari have been appointed as observers for the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan in Uttar Pradesh.

All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary KC Venugopal today announced the appointments of observers for Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, Goa, Manipur, and Meghalaya. The four leaders from Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee will oversee the crucial process of selecting district presidents in Nagaland and Uttar Pradesh as part of the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan.

In a statement issued today Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Spokesperson Pratima Singh claimed that these appointments reflect Rahul Gandhi’s vision for the Sangathan Srijan programme, which emphasises extensive consultations with grassroots workers before finalising leadership positions.

Singh elaborated that the initiative seeks to place party workers and leaders who command the confidence of both the public and party workers into bigger leadership roles, thereby ensuring a more representative and responsive organisational structure. She reminded that Uttarakhand was the fourth state where the Sangathan Srijan process was initially implemented, and the successful model is now being replicated in other states. She expressed pride that four leaders from Uttarakhand have been included in the list of observers released by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) for six states, describing it as a matter of honour for the state unit.

The spokesperson further claimed that the Congress organisation is steadily expanding and being reinforced to serve the people more effectively. She emphasised that the party remains committed to raising issues of public interest and continues to advance under the guidance of Rahul Gandhi, with the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan serving as a cornerstone of its organisational renewal.
